Ultimately responsible for the operation of the unit on their assigned shift as it relates to coordination of clinical care delivery, staffing, and physician satisfaction. Responsible for cost targets and for staff satisfaction as measured by percent of licensed turnover. Responsible for employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction and physician satisfaction scores. Must achieve satisfactory quality scores as evidenced by scores on departmental walk-through and chart reviews. Performs management functions R/T HR activities such as employee counseling, monitoring of attendance and educational needs. Responsible for accurate shift report.
2-3 years RN experience, Current AL Nursing license required; certified in CPR. BSN/MSN preferred.
