Daily cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas in accordance with the standard procedures of the Housekeeping Department and in accordance with the facilities objectives. Cleaning of office areas, restrooms, soiled utility rooms, med. rooms, storage rooms, exam/treatment rooms, lounges, reception areas, waiting rooms and other rooms. Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Patient room term cleaning and discharge cleaning.
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Able to read, write and verbally communicate in English. Must be able to quickly refocus after being interrupted. Must be familiar with cleaning methods, cleaning chemicals and must be polite and courteous around people
